Paul Cox Running the Long Road

Cox is long established as a leather craftsman, fabricator and key member of “Indian Larry Legacy,” will be running the Long Road during the Smoke Out 10 rally.

The 10th Anniversary Smoke Out starts on May 8, 2009 in Cottonwood, AZ with a two-day blow out launch party and ends the following week May 15 and 16 at the Rockingham Drag Strip in Rockingham, NC.

Cox ran The Long Road, which will be a 350-mile ride each day with an insane party each night.

Taking The Long Road

Bob Kay, Torian’s Leather Designer, will be meeting up with the Smoke Out Chopper Jockeys on May 11, 2009 during the first stop of the Long Road at Brass Balls Bobbers headquarters in Oklahoma City.

Kay will be riding his latest chopper creation that includes a jockey shift and foot controled clutch. It’s built in the spirit of traditional motobikes of the 40′s and 50′s.

The Long Road is run between Smoke Out West and Smoke Out East. Everyday you ride just far enough to get to the next party.

The Horse Logo

Torian Chopper Leathers is finishing the work on the logo for The Horse. We worked on making the logo a little simpler so that it will pop on black leather. The following is an embrodiery logo.

The Horse leather shirt will be available in the magazine and in their online store by their June 2009 edition.

I’ve got a bike project I’ve working on in my garage. When it gets a bit warmer outside, I’m going to do the photos w/ your Torian Road Jacket and my bike. It’s an old 1981 Kawasaki GZ440… it’s totally going to be my Mad Max bike… I’m so excited! So stay tuned for that.

Charlie Horse

Torian Chopper Leathers is working on a custom leather shirt for The Horse Backstreet Choppers Magazine. The shirt will include an embroidery image of the firm’s Charlie Horse and the name “The Horse.”

Torian is currently working on the Charlie Horse image to make it pop on a black leather background. The prototype and sample should be completed by the end of March with product available at the 2009 Smokeout 10 rally.
